Biography
Plays: Mystery School, Body Parts, Moon City, The Pompeii Traveling Show (New York Drama League Award). Operas: Lamentations, Red Tide, Long Island Dreamer. Text for Dance: Pian o and Never Enough. He has appeared as a writer/performer at The Public Theater, The Ensemble Studio Theater, Performance Space 122 and others. His work has been produced at En Garde Arts, The Sundance Film Festival, The Joyce Theater, The Long Wharf Theater, The New-Music Theater Ensemble, Dance Theater Workshop, as well as other venues in the U.S. and U.K. His work is anthologized in the publications One-Act Plays From The Ensemble Studio Theater's Marathon 1996-97, The Best American Short Plays of 1995-96, American Dramaturgy: A Source Book, Gay Plays 3, The Best Short Plays of 1998 and Solo: Contemporary Monologues of the 1980's. He is Co-Director of the M.F.A. in Writing Program at Godard College.
