First Look @ New Plays needs your support!
Writing a play can be lonely and arduous. And then the real work begins. It’s critical for the playwright to have an early look at the play on its feet in a theatre, with a cast and an audience. For a play doesn’t exist until live players and a live audience come together in one space where, for a time, they become one community. At this essential stage of the process, First Look @ New Plays provides a showcase of the highest quality. It also allows NYU to support its graduates as they venture into the professional world to make their voices heard. And we can only achieve all these if you walk this worthwhile journey with us. We ask that you contribute to the vitality and spirit of the tri-state theatre community and the next generation of playwrights by generously supporting First Look @ New Plays.
